The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers The “ARC”

In November 2016, Mustique will be amongst the 260 other yachts setting sail from Las Palmas in Gran Canaria to participate in the world famous Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC). This is the biggest trans-ocean rally or race in the world.

The 2,700 mile race is something most sailors only dream of; to follow the wake of our fore-fathers and to traverse one of the biggest oceans in the world, using only the power of the elements. Taking advantage of the North East Trade Winds and sailing across the tropics, the ARC is one of the most civilised ways of crossing the Atlantic Ocean, and Mustique, as a large Blue Water Cruiser, has been designed and built to undertake such a voyage in safety and comfort. Her 44 tonnes keeps her well balanced in the water for a smooth ride and her onboard facilities (water-maker, air conditioning, etc, etc) ensures that all onboard have time to fully enjoy the passage.

This page is for those people that would like to join the Mustique Crew for this epic trip. We are offering you the ability buy individual places onboard, to join with professional crew for this crossing. (Whole boat charter would also be considered on different terms).

Individual Crew Position Cost €5,500.00 per person.

What’s Included?

Entry to the ARC seminars and parties
A comprehensive programme of pre race training exercises both practical and theoretical including yacht management, navigation and victualling.
For the duration of the ARC:

All meals on board
Non alcoholic drinks (water, soft drinks, lemonade, coffee and tea)
Snacks (veggies, crisps, nuts, chocolate bars, candy etc.)

All onboard expenses including fuel
Dockage fees
Professional skipper and first mate
