The Adriatic Sea is a semi-enclosed body of water separating the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan Peninsula. Containing over 1,300 islands, mostly along with eastern shores, the Adriatic and specifically the countries of Croatia and Montenegro provide some of the most iconic sailing grounds in the world.
