The Caribbean Sea is home to 22 island territories, bordering 12 continental countries. The region comprises almost 700 islands and islets and covers an area of just over 1 million square miles and offers a unique opportunity to experience a wide diversity of cultures through the spectacular scenery, colonial history and fantastic foods that are to be encountered on every island. Bathed in year round sunshine but tempered by the constant trade-winds, sailing is a joy, offering exhilarating Blue Water passages or relaxing 'line-of-sight' island hoping.
The Adriatic Sea is a semi-enclosed body of water separating the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan Peninsula. Containing over 1,300 islands, mostly along with eastern shores, the Adriatic and specifically the countries of Croatia and Montenegro provide some of the most iconic sailing grounds in the world. Steeped in myth and history, the area abounds with evidence of past cultures and influences, from ancient Greek and Illyrian to Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman.
The islands of the Ionian Sea, located on the western coastline of Greece consist of a group of seven larger and numerous smaller islands. These are all well known for their beautiful sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, charming villages and stunning scenic countryside which is verdant and flourishing with greenery and nature.
